Education
Yes, both of these forms will be reported on your tax return. Since you are claiming your son as your dependent, you want to report Form 1098-T to claim any education credits you may be eligible for. Form 1099-Q gets reported on the tax return of the recipient.
Enter Form 1099-Q first with your son as the eligible student. If you had any other qualified education expenses, be sure to enter those as well in the Other Education Expenses screen. You cannot claim any education credits for any portion of your tuition paid for with a 529 withdrawal or scholarship. You can, however, use the 529 withdrawal to pay for other education expenses that the education credit may not cover, like room and board. This will "free up" the tuition so that you can use it to maximize an education credit if you are eligible for one.
