You have two options:
1. If you weren't a dependent any more, you'll have to mail in your tax return since your Social Security Number was used on the tax return your mom e-filed.
- Your return will take longer to process by the IRS.
- Your mom may get a letter from the IRS requesting proof that you are her dependent.
- You might also get a letter from the IRS.
2. If you were your mom's dependent, revisit the Personal Info section of TurboTax and answer that you are a dependent and you're being claimed as a dependent on someone else's return. You'll then be able to e-file your return since your return is for a dependent.
