No actually, it's the opposite. If Box 1 (Tuition) is greater than Box 5 (Scholarships), you may be eligible for an Education Credit.
Plus, don't forget to add Books and Other Fees as you go through the questions in the Education section.
If your school didn't put the correct amount of Tuition you paid in Box 1 (or any amount), as you enter your 1098-T, there is a box to check that 'the tuition I paid is different..' and you'll be able to enter the correct amount of tuition.
From the amounts in your question, you have paid $323 over your Scholarship and this doesn't include books/fees.
