To add unemployment into TurboTax:
- Type unemployment in Search in the upper right
- Click Jump to unemployment
- TurboTax will ask (1) whether you received unemployment, (2) whether it was government (1099-G) or private and (3) whether you repaid any benefits. Answer those questions.
- Click continue and enter your information.
To add your economic impact payment:
- Type "stimulus" in Search in the upper right
- Select "Jump to stimulus"
- TurboTax will ask whether the amount your eligible for matches what you got.
- If it doesn't, say NO
- TurboTax will let you enter what you got and add the extra to your refund
