Trust tax return will have to be printed and filed on paper?
Question 1: I understand that TurboTax Business doesn’t import “consolidated 1099” documents from brokers. I’ll have two consolidated 1099 documents with each having about 30 pages of various 1099s (1099-INT, 1099-DIV, etc.) Seems to me that means those consolidated 1099 documents will have to be printed and attached to a printed 1041 and filed the old-fashioned way through the US Mail?
Question 2: It looks like charitable contributions from trust principle would be recorded on form 1041-A. Does the mere existence of Form 1041-A require that the 1041 and supporting 1041-A would have to be filed as a paper tax return?
