You will need to amend the return that was already submitted to change the income and deduction items to your 2019 information, such as your 2019 W-2. You cannot amend that return to change it to a 2018 return. Your 2018 return will need to be filed on its own by mail.
If you did not have any income for 2019, then when you amend it, delete the W-2 completely. Then, this amended 2019 return will also need to be filed by mail.
