I’ve purchased QuickBooks Quick Employee Forms and have successfully e-filed multiple 1099s with no issues. However, for the past 12 days, my W-2s are still showing “EFILE PROCESSING.”
When I hover over the status, it says “Processing forms at the SSA.”
I just want to make sure this is normal and that there’s nothing additional I need to do on my end. I’m concerned about the delay and want to be certain the filings will go through correctly.
Has anyone else run into this recently?
Is this just an SSA backlog?
Did yours eventually update without intervention?
Is there any follow-up step I should be taking?
