It doesn't matter if you have your winnings reported on a W-2G or not, both types (with w-2g and without) get entered into the same place. Search for w-2g, use the Jump to link to be taken to the Gambling Winnings entry. When asked if you have a w-2g, answer NO. Then answer Yes when asked about other winnings - not on a w2g.
You can total your winnings, by session, and report them there. After that you will be asked about your losses (if you itemize, the entry comes from this screen). You have to total your losses, using your method, and enter the total there.
If you are using the desktop platform, you can use Forms mode to enter the total directly on the forms. Keep your documentation with your tax records. You should only provide it, if it is requested by the IRS.
