I purchased 3 new energy efficient exterior doors in February 2025 and had them installed in April 2025. Form 5695 is requiring a QMID in order to declare the cost of the doors. I do not have a QMID. And, the manufacturer closed their business in June 2025 so I have no way to call the manufacturer to obtain the QMID information. How can I declare my door expense?
