IF you have no energy credits....nor any energy credit carryovers from last year...then just delete the form 5695.

 

For the "Online" software, go to the left-side menu, and click on:

Tax Tools

then......Tools

then, from the pop-up menu.........Delete a Form 

 

(If you used that form last year, there may have been something strange that carried into this year's form)

IF you do have something to enter on that form...go ahead and delete it, then restart the Home Energy Credits from the interview.   BUT, if you had a credit carryover from 2024, make sure you have that $$ amount written down, or printed out from your 2024 file, before you delete this year's form 5695.
