Can I claim 2 years of property taxes in 1 year? If so, is their a dollar limit?
No, there is not a limit on property taxes paid. However, there is a limit on the total State/Local taxes paid as an itemized deduction on Schedule A. The limit is $10,000
You can deduct all the property taxes you paid during the year on the current year tax return.
