I have a vehicle that I used for business and personal. The motor seized. Can I deduct this as a loss where I still own the vehicle?

A new engine would cost more than the value of the vehicle. I have taken it out of service, but I am not using it for personal use nor did I sell it yet. I bought another vehicle that I plan on using for the business and personal use.
