No, they are not federally deductible since this is your personal home. You would add this expense to your cost basis for when you sell the house so be sure to keep the receipts along with your other home purchase documents.
If you replaced the roof with solar shingles, then you may qualify for The Residential Energy Credit. Regular shingles do not qualify.
