Deductions & credits

Well....Are you an OR resident, or a WA resident?

________________________

IF you are an OR resident, then everything is correct.  OR can tax your income form everywhere, including the time you worked in WA state.   OR would allow you a credit  for taxes you had to pay to another state for working there...but since WA isn't taxing it, there's no credit and OR can tax all of it.

IF you were a WA resident, working cross-border in OR?   Then talk to the employer about whey they didn't delineate the $$ on the W-2.

....(or maybe they did?  Like If OR wages on the W-2 are lower than the box 1 $$, then those days may already be accounted for, and they just don't list the WA stuff on a second line for boxes 15,16,17 since there is no tax for WA earnings)
