All you need to do is in the personal info section click add a dependent and then enter their information. Make sure you put in their SSN and all their info. The answers to the questions will determine whether or not you can claim the credit. If they are not your children or parents they MUST live with you for the ENTIRE year. So if they did not, you cannot get the credit for them.
