Don't change it now....but if you are using the "Desktop/Download" software, switch to Forms Mode, and look at the actual 1099-INT forms there. Sounds like there should only be two 1099-INT forms. Right?
Open them and look at the exact values again.

Also, you haven't entered any 1099-K forms too have you? Those sometimes add $$ into the interest line on the 1040.
