The Child Tax Credit for tax year 2023 has not increased. Congress has not passed any legislation for an increase at this time.
When you entered your child born in 2023 did you select that they lived in your home for the entire year? A child born during the year is deemed to have lived with you for the whole year.
The $1,600 ACTC is the refundable portion of the CTC.
