You can use ANY of the DOWNLOADED programs since all the downloaded versions handle all the same tax forms... If you don't need to file a state return you can use the Basic version.
If you use the online program you must use the Premier version or better.
Don't confuse the ONLINE program with the DOWNLOADED/CD version ... they have different pricing structures and functionalities.
