To enter your energy efficient roof improvements you will select the following:
- Deductions and Credits
- Show More next to your Home
- Start next to Home Energy Credits
Answer the questions about whether the improvements were related to your main home and if they were part of new construction. In order to claim the credit, the roof must be on your main home and done to an existing home. Enter the amount you paid and click continue.
