@random_freak09 Then look at your return to see if you claimed your child as a dependent correctly. Is he listed up near the top as a dependent? Did you enter the child's Social Security number in My Info? Did you make sure to say that the SSN did not say not valid for employment? When it asked if anyone else supported the child or if there is an "agreement" about the child's support, did you say NO?
Make sure you have entered your child as a dependent in My Info, and that you have entered the child's Social Security number. Careful— do not say that your child’s SSN is not valid for employment. If your child was born in 2021make sure you said he lived with you the whole year. There is an oddly worded question that asks if the child paid over half their own support. Say NO to that question.
