@JS985 - so now that @VolvoGirl and I have "cleared the air" on the limits for the stimulus, what is you specific issue?
The recovery credit is simply the number of people on your tax return TIMES $1400 (and then a "haircut" if your income is between the limits discussed above) LESS what you already received (probably between March and May, 2021)
if the item in bold above, which YOU have to enter, does not match the IRS records (since they are the ones who sent what you received), they will reduce Line 30 by the difference, which results in a smaller refund
