This is so close to my problem. For 2021: I'm well over 55, married (also well over 55), not retired, and have an HDHP. My employer contributed $8200 (reported on my W2) to my HSA. Turbotax entered $7200 on line 3 and nothing on line 7. Turbotax should have entered $1000 on line 7. If I override Turbotax, I get a huge warning during final review.
How do I get Turbotax to figure out that I'm over 55?
