Yes. Enter any deductibles are medical expenses. You'll have to split the amounts you paid into categories such as fees for doctors and dentists, hospital charges and lab and X-rays.
Here's how to enter your medical expenses:
- Type medical expenses in Search in the upper right
- Click Jump to medical expenses
- TurboTax will estimate the amount of medical expenses needed to be added to your itemized deductions for those deductions to make a difference. You will not be able to deduct medical expenses if you use the standard deduction.
