Deductions & credits
We cannot see your screen or your tax return and it is difficult to tell what happened. Whenever you claim a newborn child as a dependent on a tax return you have to say that the child lived with you for the WHOLE YEAR. If you do not say that, you can miss out on the child-related credits like child tax credit. So---for the year your child was born, if you did not answer correctly in My Info that the child lived with you all year, that would explain why you did not get the child tax credit. You could amend your return for that year to fix the mistake.
As for your 2021 return----you must say the children lived with you for at least half the year and if they were with you for the whole year---choose whole year. You must enter their Social Security numbers. If you accidentally clicked that the Social Security number is not valid for employment then that is a problem that you have to correct. When it asks you that oddly worded question about whether the child paid for over half his own support say NO.
If you have not e-filed yet, it might help you to delete the dependents and then go back to My Info and enter them again. Go very slowly through the screens as you answer all of the questions since it seems you must be answering something incorrectly.
