You are eligible to receive the stimulus for the baby born in 2021. You are also eligible to receive the Child tax credit. Choose that the baby lived with you for the whole year for the new born.
- Open the tax return
- Go to my info
- Click on dependents
- Add new dependents and enter all the information
- Say yes to the question of whether baby lived with you for more than 6 months
You will see your stimulus amount for baby in line 30 in your tax return 1040.
