Deductions & credits

Possibly.  A credit is provided to Colorado residents who preserve or rehabilitate qualified historic property per 39-22-514 C.R.S.  Here is a link to the Historical Society with whom you should contact to make sure you follow all the rules.

Also you can go here for an idea of the rules and approvals needed to get the required certificates for the credit.

Once you have that you can make claim in the CO state interview in the "Taxes and Credits" section.  Continue through the state interview to arrive at the Colorado Taxes and Credits page.  Scroll down to the "Business and Investments" section. "Start/Revisit" the "Historic Property Preservation" or "Historic Structure Preservation" topic as applicable.
