Let us try this again ... the IRS  doesn't need page 4 at all to figure the standard deduction at all ... using the info you entered in the MY INFO section the appropriate boxes are marked on the 1040 page 1 which automatically completes line 12 of the form 1040.   This only comes into play if you are 65 or older and/or blind.  Look at the forms carefully ...
