Deductions & credits
Health Savings Account contributions made through work should appear as Code W in Box 12 of your W-2. The 1099-SA only shows withdrawals from your HSA.
Are you sure you have an HSA? You may have a flexible spending account (FSA). FSAs cover dependent care and do not send out 1099-SAs. Your HSA provider is required to send a 1099-SA to the IRS if there were distributions from the account.
If you do have an HSA and you are not being sent a 1099-SA, is the information available online in your account? Any numbers should match what’s being reported to the IRS. If TurboTax asks about 1099-SA numbers, I suggest trying to get the correct numbers from your HSA to put into TurboTax.
