There is no such thing as a Tax Claim.
You file a Tax Return to report your income, deductions and credits. The federal tax return is sent to the IRS. If your total tax payments were greater than your total tax liabilities then you will receive a Tax Refund for the overpayment.
If you have filed a 2018 tax return and it has been accepted by the IRS, you Cannot file another 2018 tax return. To make any changes to the tax return that was filed you must amend the tax return. You do not amend a tax return until you receive any tax refund or have paid the taxes owed.
