I was claimed as dependent in 2018 and 2019, but not 2020, online it says if I file my taxes for 2020 and nobody puts me in their taxes as a dependent for 2020 I can recieve the stimulus checks of 2020 which are $1,200 and $600, is this true or false info? I am 29, I called irs and person said no, but online it says yes, can somebody clear this conflict I'm confused about, thanks?
I want to claim the $1,400 stimulus check as well so what would I put in total amount for line 30 on irs form 1040?
