State tax filing
Form 1127 is a return for Nonresident Employees of the City of New York Hired On or After January 4, 1973.
If you did not work for the City of New York last year, you would not have been subject to this tax.
If you did work for the City of New York, you will need to file this return.
I have attached a link to the New York City tax website. If you determine you should have filed this return, you can find additional information here under the Personal Income Tax and Non-resident NYC Employee Payments.
You can amend your 2018 return if needed using TurboTax. Attached is a link for more instructions on that should you need to amend to include Form 1127.
