...and you probably shouldn't file until after the 1st of Feb....even if the NC forms are finalized.
The IRS is not "starting" their processing until the 27th of Jan (not all will be processed the same day they "start") and your NC tax forms will not be accepted or processed by the NC DOR until AFTER the IRS accepts your particular Federal forms.
DO Not file until Feb.....you can't stop them if you file early, and remember you missed something.
