State tax filing

True...make sure you are using the MO-NRI to report the income you received (Wages, Interest Dividends, etc) after you moved to MO.

Missouri is one of a couple states that has part-year residents choose to file either as Full-year resident, and taking a credit for taxes paid to the other state...or as a full-yr Non-resident...reporting only all of their income received after moving to MO.

Make sure you are using the Nonresident choice........if you take the full-yr resident route, MO will tax all your FL income too, with no credit for income taxes paid to FL, since FL has no income tax.
