State tax filing

First, you want to make sure you do the nonresident return first.  Then the program will automatically transfer all that information for you.  Make sure you have double taxed income, meaning income you eared outside your resident state, for which you are not receiving a refund in that nonresident state,  If you actually moved and were a part-year resident  of both states, you would not be eligible for a credit for tax paid to another state.
