You will need to make the entries in the federal interview that will carryover to the MA state interview.
In the "Deductions & Credits" section:
- Scroll down to "Estimates and other Taxes Paid"
- Click the dropdown
- Start/revisit "Income Taxes Paid"
- Select the dropdown for 2022 refunds applied
- Start/revisit 2022 refunds applied to 2023 state taxes
Credit will then be applied to your MA state return forms.
