This is a desktop softwre thing...
OK...double click on the $0. That should open the Supporting details worksheet that you apparently used last year for that field.
Or...single click on the $0, then go up to the "Edit" at the top of the screen and select Add Supporting Details.
Once the Supporting Details sheet is open, you can either make your entry there to get the $$ into the field you need, OR get rid of it (hit the red X), and the SD sheet will be entirely gone now, and you get full access to the regular entry point.

And just a comment...it is better call them SS benefits.
