It sounds like you are likely correct; the experience is due to your new dependent. It could possibly be a disconnect between the dependent data in "My Info" and the Grocery Tax Credit entries.
In the "My Info" section show that your dependent son lived with you for 12 months (even though born in Dec). In the ID Credits section the number of months eligible for your son will be one (1) based on his birthdate.
