Check your Credit for taxes paid to another state.
- In the Illinois section, go to the screen "Take a look at Illinois credits and taxes"
- Start/Revisit Credit for taxes paid to another state
- On "Other States Income and Tax Summary" your Missouri income should be the same as what you are reporting for Illinois.
Since you continued to work in Missouri after moving to Illinois, TurboTax may have picked up the full year's Missouri income in that box. However, the only income that is being double taxed is the amount you earned while a resident of Illinois.
