The IRS has nothing to do with that. The IRS is only concerned with your federal tax return. So you need to take a much closer look at the letter you received. Is it actually from the state of Ohio? Did you take the time to read the other posts that are in this thread? Did you read the information in those posts? Your school tax is a part of the state return that you prepared. Did you prepare the school tax part when you did your Ohio tax return?
