You can complete the NC extension form in the "Other situations" section in your NC state interview.
- Click "State" in the left hand menu
- Click "Your State State returns" at the top of your screen
- Click "Continue" NC
- Click "Edit" "Other Situations"
- Click "Start" "File an Extension"
- Follow the prompts
