Click the arrow to the right of state refund/tax owed to see other states. If you have clicked the arrow and don't see California, check Your State Returns to make sure you started a California return.
- Select State in the left column
- Select Your State Returns at the top
- On the next screen–Status of your state returns–do you see California?
- If you don't see California, tap Add another State at the bottom and pick California from the dropdown list.
- Start California and go through all the screens.
