Check the state and local refund amounts in State and Local Tax Refunds on Form 1099-G to make sure those numbers are accurate.
- Click on Federal in the left column
- Click Wages & Income at the top
- Go to Other Common Income. Click Show more
- Start/Revisit Refunds Received for State/Local Tax Returns
- On the State and Local Tax Refund Summary check whether your MO and St Louis refunds are correct. If not, edit them. Employers should withhold the correct amount of St Louis tax so refunds are rare.
