@Huboomer I NEED TO PREPARE A PAST YEAR STATE RETURN
If you prepared a 2018 federal return using TurboTax you can also prepare a state return. Information flows from the federal return to the state return, so you cannot prepare a "stand alone" state return. And for 2018, you have to use downloaded desktop software on a full PC or Mac. You cannot use online software for any 2018 return. Access your 2018 federal return using exactly the same account and user ID and then add the state and prepare it. You will have to mail the state return. It cannot be e-filed. If that sounds like too much aggravation and cost, then get the paper form for the 2018 state return and prepare it by hand. You will need a copy of your 2018 federal return to look at and get information from.
