State tax filing

Well, it certainly depends on your exact employment situation.

 

BUT....if you are a legal resident of GA

#1) since TX does not have an income tax, you will owe taxes to GA on all that TX income

#2)  and if the company you worked for is a major company, that works in many states, they may have been able to withhold GA taxes for you.......that avoids you having a big tax bill for GA, and possibly having to pay underpayment penalties to GA as a result.
