Okay, I double-checked that; thanks for replying. The problem was actually on line 2, not line 4. It is supposed to be the "Overpaid tax as shown on the original return." However, it does NOT match the original return figure at all. In my case, it is several thousand too high, so my refund on the amended return shows several thousand too low.
Any idea how to fix this? Either scouting out the problem, or manually correcting TT somehow.
