Tax year 2016 is the current tax year being reported. You can use either the TurboTax online or desktop editions to complete and e-file a 2016 tax return.

For prior year returns you will have to purchase and download the desktop editions for each tax year needed.

Prior year tax returns can only be printed and mailed, they cannot be e-filed. When mailing multiple tax years use separate envelopes for each tax year.
