After you file
What happens when you try to open one, go up to File-Open? Do you get an error code or message? Did you get the program installed ok on the new computer and activated with the 16 digit License Code? Can you start a brand new return to test? Go up to File-New.
First you need to update the program by going up to Online-Check for Updates. How are you trying to open them? Where did you copy them? They should be on the new computer's hard drive in your Documents, then in a Turbo Tax subfolder.

IMPORTANT
After you get the program installed or reinstalled the first thing to do before you open your tax return is to update the program and install any state programs you had. Then open your file. So you first might need to start a fake return to be able to download the state program (go to FILE - NEW). Enter some basic information, then go to the state tab and download the state program. Then try to open your existing return, go to FILE - OPEN
You might need to start a new fake return for your existing returns to show up.
