If you expect to be in CA long enough to receive mail there you can use your friend's mailing address--make sure it is the address you want the IRS to use if they have to mail you a letter or a check.
In MY INFO you are asked where you lived in 2025. Did you choose FL? When it asked if you made money in any other state did you say NO?
Your entry of a CA address may be triggering the appearance of a CA return form--you can delete that.
