Only the IRS controls when your refund will be issued; TurboTax gets no information after you file your return, so no one at TT knows you had to verify your identity. TurboTax is not part of any of that. Watch the IRS site for information. Having to verify your identity with the IRS can delay your refund ---be prepared to wait about nine weeks and consider yourself lucky if it is less.
