After you file
First of all---you do not use the process to "amend" in order to just fix a rejected tax return. You only use "amend" to make corrections to a tax return that has been accepted and fully processed by the IRS. This is done on a special form 1040X. Hopefully you did not use 1040X to just add an IP PIN.
So perhaps you are just mis-stating when you say you "amended" and mean that you just added the PIN. You cannot e-file a 2023 rejected return. E-filing is permanently closed for 2023. The only way for you to file it now is by mail. Print it, sign and date it in ink, and mail it.
When you mail a tax return, you need to attach any documents showing tax withheld, such as your W-2’s or any 1099’s. Use a mailing service that will track it, such as UPS or certified mail so you will know the IRS/state received the return.
Federal and state returns must be in separate envelopes and they are mailed to different addresses. Read the mailing instructions that print with your tax return carefully so you mail them to the right addresses.
